Job Description:
Backwaiters/Bussers are support staff for servers, bartenders, and managers. As a backwaiter/busser, your typical duties include general table maintenance such as clearing and resetting tables, pouring and refilling water glasses and soft drinks, preparing coffee, tea, and other non-alcoholic beverages, polishing glassware and silverware and other side work, ensuring the restaurant from floor to ceiling remains clean, and restocking all sanitary items.

Backwaiting/Bussing is the first step to any other FoH position in our group. With good performance, including on written and practical tests, and a solid attendance record, you will have the opportunity to be a food runner, barback, server, or bartender. With enough time, you can also be considered for a management position.

We consider both full-time and part-time employment. We are very lenient on time off and your current life schedule. However, regular Friday and Saturday availability is a must.

While we provide priority to applicants with previous restaurant experience, NO EXPERIENCE IS NECESSARY for this position. We provide all on-site training for you to succeed. All it takes is a good attitude and work ethic to be successful within our group. If you have any interest in a job or full career in hospitality, we encourage you to apply.

Job Requirements:
You must:

- Be able to fill an I-9 Form
- Be 16+ for bussing, 18+ for any other position
- Be able to lift 50+ pounds with help over your head
- Be able to carry heavy trays and plates by yourself
- Be able to stand for your entire shift (typically 6-8 hours)
- Have reliable transportation to and from the restaurant
- Be friendly and courteous to all coworkers and guests at all times
- Work well under stress. We are one of the busiest restaurants in our area
- Be organized and able to prioritize tasks quickly and efficiently
- Be able to work late hours (we are open until or slightly past midnight, with consideration to staff members 17 and younger)
- Be able to work Friday and Saturday evenings
- Be willing to learn new things and practice to perfection
