Job Description:

Reporting to the Director, Compensation, the Senior Analyst, Compensation provides hands-on administration of all aspects of compensation programs to align with business strategies and also ensures the Company's compensation practices and processes comply with Federal, State and local laws and regulations.

Essential Job Duties
* Plans, reviews and administers the annual and quarterly merit and incentive pay-out processes at both the corporate and project levels.
* Provides analytical and subject matter expertise in the area of compliance for compensation programs with an emphasis on the regulatory environment applicable to government contractors.
* Reviews compensation proposals and makes recommendations to enhance internal equity and external competitiveness.
* Reviews and audits employee data in HRIS (Workday) for data accuracy.
* Conducts complex compensation analysis using advanced Excel formula; pulls reports from Workday and other financial systems for data analysis.
* Develops and maintains position control and job mapping processes to streamline the job structure.
* Performs job analysis to ensure consistency in internal titling and job descriptions.
* Conducts market pricing for salary recommendations to support promotions and job creations as well as commercial bidding process.
* Proactively tracks minimum wage/living wage changes and salary threshold changes at Federal/State/City/County/Locality level to ensure compliance; conducts cost impact analysis to support commercial bidding and pricing process.
* Provides guidance and training to the HR business partners for compensation policies and processes.
* Maintains and updates compensation structure and SOPs.
* Supports other Compensation team members on special projects.

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university required, preferred field of study including Applied Mathematics, Statistics and Finance.
Minimum of 5 years in high volume data analysis experience required.
Experience in a publicly traded global organization and government contractor preferred.
Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) preferred.
Must have strong computer and database application skills including Excel and HRIS (Workday's compensation module preferred).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate findings into clear and concise documents and presentations.
Knowledge and understanding of laws and regulations relating to HR and compensation.
Experience with populations covered by the McNamara-O'Hara Service Contract Act is a plus.
Strong time management skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment.
Strong customer focus and problem resolution skills.
Must have excellent attention to detail.

  • Provides immediate supervision to a unit or group of employees, assigning tasks, checking work at frequent intervals, and maintaining schedules.

  • A portion of time is normally spent performing individual tasks related to the unit or sub-unit.

  • Generally supervises semi-skilled employees or a few individual professional contributors.

  • Monitors daily operations of a unit or sub-unit.

  • Requires full knowledge of own area of functional responsibility.

  • Frequently interacts with subordinate employees and functional peer groups.

  • Interaction normally requires the ability to gain cooperation of others, conducting presentations concerning specific projects or schedules.

  • Receives predetermined work assignments that are subject to a moderate level of control and review.

  • Directs subordinates to complete assignments using established guidelines, procedures and policies.
