Job Description: Job Title: Inspector/Packer Department: Molding Department (Manufacturer of plastic housewares) Reports to: Temporary Staffing Representative and Group Leader Inspector/Packer position – Temporary Assignment 12 hour shifts Day Shift – 7:00a.m. To 7:00 p.m. and Night Shift – 7:00 p.m. to 7:00a.m. Alternating weekly schedule – 3 days per week = 36 hours and 4 days the next week = 48 hours Pay – Day Shift - $12.70/hour with $1.00/hour earned attendance bonus Pay – Night Shift - $13.20/hour with $1.00/hour earned attendance bonus Must meet the requirements of the attendance policy to earn the attendance bonus

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE High school education or GED preferred; or up to one month related experience or training in manufacturing; or equivalent combination of education and experience. LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to understand basic oral and written English and to read and comprehend simple instructions. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. REASONING ABILITY Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to get along with others, function as a team player, and follow all work rules. Must be able to pass on information to break operators, shift relief operators and supervisory personnel. Ability to quickly adjust actions in relation to other actions. Ability to tell when something is wrong or likely to go wrong. Ability to meet strict timing deadlines. PHYSICAL DEMANDS The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this 12 hour job, the employee is regularly required to stand for 4 hours at a time during a 12 hour shift; use both hands to finger, handle or feel product; reach with hands and arms; and bend, stoop, kneel or crouch. The employee frequently is required to talk and hear simultaneously. Ability to walk frequently and for long periods will be required when working on machines with robots. This requires the ability to lift up to 10 pounds, occasionally up to 30 pounds and rarely up to 50 pounds, repeatedly bend and lift boxes onto pallets. Employee must occasionally lift product overhead. Specific vision abilities required by this job include ability to work up close, identify color and color gradations and the ability to repeatedly adjust focus. Additional physical activities include considerable use of arms and legs, and moving your entire body, for example, climbing, lifting balancing, walking, stooping, and handling materials. WORK ENVIROMENT The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing disabilities to perform the essential functions of this job. Due to the nature of the production environment, the employee in this position usually works alone and may be required to stay at the assigned machine for up to 3 to 3 ½ hours. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. Ear protections must be worn in locations where it is required. Shifts are 12 hours and 3 and 4 day alternating work-weeks.
