Job Description:
A Cosmetic Products Manufacturing Machine Engineer at our company must be able to perform the following complex tasks: [1] In general, design, engineer and analyze mechanical equipment, manufacturing machines needed and appropriate software tools needed to produce specialized and tailor made cosmetic products under the various brand names sold in the U.S. domestic market. Further, he must be able to provide detailed assessments of engineering and manufacturing designs including, the review of components and assemblies, the identification of variances and root causes, and implementation of corrective actions;
[2] Create and develop risk assessment methods including FMEA or FMECA for new products contributing to improved designs, higher quality and reliability and safety. Further, he will plan and implement manufacturing engineering programs including: defining goals, design activities, milestones, and testing requirements for FDA and other government agencies relating to use of chemical components within new products;
[3] Evaluate, research and approve design changes and construction of tooling/fixtures for processes and modification of existing production equipment as needed including, manufacturing machines specifications of production in relation to heat dissipation and concentration of pressures. Further, he will provide expert knowledge and hands-on implementation of process improvement methods (ie. Lean Six Sigma) and evaluation of design options through computer modeling, DFM/DFT electronics manufacturing services (EMS) Quick Turn Prototyping, Materials management for Consignment and Trunkey, PCB Assembly, Functional & Reliability Test, Box-Build, and System Integration.

Job Requirements:
The minimum requirement for entry into the offered position is a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Design with concentration in specialty courses relevant to the position.
