Job Summary

Put your analytical skills to use in the expanding field of Acoustic Micro Imaging (AMI). At Sonoscan, the world leader in AMI, Applications Engineers are vital members of our lab and sales support team who perform in-depth analysis on electronic components and materials, report results in a variety of methods including written reports, demonstrate the capabilities of Sonoscan's Acoustic Microscopes and conduct customer training. The ideal candidate will have a desire to communicate technical information accurately and clearly, to work with new technologies and to interact with customers in solving problems.

You will receive extensive training on the operation of our product line of Acoustic Microscopes and be immersed in a variety of applications in order to provide expert, timely analysis of customer products and to answer most, if not all, application and usage questions. Equipped with a wide breadth of technical and applications knowledge, you will begin to participate in system demonstrations, applications development, equipment installations and customer training and support. Expect some travel, opportunity for advancement and specialized training in a growing industry serving Fortune 1000 semiconductor companies.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

* Operate the entire product line of Sonoscan acoustic microscopes.
* Provide technical consultation and training to customers and employees.
* Perform projects, compatibilities, installations, demonstrations, and visits.
* Provide QC support for Sonoscan.

Education and Experience Requirements

College degree in physics, science or engineering required

Skills and Abilities

Strong communication skills required. Must be able to convey technical information in a variety of ways; written reports, oral presentations, web meetings, etc.
