  1. Formulates and defines system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding to develop or modify moderately complex information systems: a. Prepares detailed design specifications from which programs will be written. b. Optimizes the performance of enterprise business intelligence tools by defining data to filter and index that add value to the user. c. Illustrates end- to-end BI solutions from source to delivery.

  2. Designs, codes, tests, debugs, documents and maintains ETL processes, Business Intelligence Reports and Dashboards. a. Creates testing methodology and criteria. b. Ensures data / information quality metrics are met.

  3. Consults with users or other IT professionals to resolve issues with programs. Leads the development of project plans and timelines, consolidating estimates for planned work.

  4. Participates in the definition of Information Management as a strategy.

  5. Plans for releases for the Enterprise Data Warehouse.

  6. Exhibits and maintains expert knowledge of customer's business. Partners with business users and seeks out learning opportunities.

  7. Solves complex business needs with initiative, experience and judgment, expert technical skill, attention to detail, and exceptional customer service.

  8. Delivers solutions that are optimized for performance.

  9. Delivers information that is intuitive, informative and to user specifications.

  10. Leads (mentors, prioritizes, delegates and reviews work) the work of others. a. Provides detailed guidance in the design and code review. b. Establishes new standards that are encountered.

  11. Performs other duties as assigned.

  1. Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or Business-related discipline is preferred. Equivalent combination of experience and education will also be considered. Completion of pertinent certification(s) preferred.

  2. Minimum 5+ years related experience including advanced knowledge of relational databases, data models, SQL, conformed dimensions, master data management, and Business Intelligence and / or Extract/Transfer/Load (ETL) tools. a. Ability to perform both stored procedures and tool-based development. b. Demonstrates working knowledge of Information Management as a strategy and Enterprise Data Warehouse implementations. c. Experience development and formalizing dashboard best practices and creating dashboards preferably in MicroStrategy.

  3. Ability to participate in all phases of the most complex or high-risk application analysis and design components.

  4. Demonstrates advanced knowledge, broader skills / experience and the ability to perform work with limited supervision.

  5. Must be detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple assignments effectively. 6. Requires effective communication skills to communicate to others in order to accomplish work, provide instruction, deliver input or redirection and to interact with leadership.
