Job Description:
Roles & Responsibilities
The Electrical Engineer will work in a high velocity and dynamic environment with a focus on quality, efficiency, and innovation. Coordinate and facilitate the design, fabrication, modification, and evaluation of electronic apparatus, components, or circuitry for use in onboard electronics and avionics systems
Research, develop, design, and test electrical components, equipment, systems, and networks
Prepare engineering sketches and specifications
Prepare documentation on product development, introduction schedules, product costs, and performance weaknesses
Produce designs and products according to specifications
Develop new products for power generation, transmission, and distribution
Develop new products related to rotating machinery, illumination, and wire communication systems

Knowledge & Skills
This position is regulated by Export regulations and requires a 'US Person' per these guidelines. A 'US Person' is defined as a United States Citizen, Permanent Resident, Refugee, or Asylee
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering is required, a Master's Degree is highly desired
1+ years of professional experience directly related to designing, building, and testing digital circuits in a lab environment
1+ years of experience with controllers and power switching circuitry
Expertise/Knowledge on DO-254 Certification requirements
Expertise on Hardware Verification including test procedure development, robustness testing, and debugging
Highly proficient with CAD software tools, experience with Mentor Graphics DxDesigner and/or Expedition is highly desired
Knowledgeable with software configuration management and problem reporting tools
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Excellent written and verbal English communication
Excellent interpersonal skills for coordinating activities with a diverse, global network of Electrical, Aerospace, and Product Engineers
