Position: Apiary Worker (Permanent/Full Time)
No of Vacancies: 3 Positions

As a Apiary Worker your job description would be as follows:
• handling, feeding and caring for honeybee colonies
• assisting in the production of nucs and/or replacement hives, diagnose and treat hive health issues,
• moving hives to and from pollination, collecting/extracting honey, as well as bee yard maintenance and the manufacture, assembly and the maintenance of hive equipment
• preparing bees and equipment for pollination activities, feeding bees
• Examine produce for quality and prepare for market
• Perform other farm duties as required.
Education: No formal education required
Work conditions and physical capabilities: Able to work in fast paced environment, Repetitive tasks, standing for extended periods, Good team player, Outdoor work (rain/shine, hot/cold), Move or lift objects upto 9 kg(20 lbs.)
Language Requirements: Basic English
Salary: $ 13.00 hourly for 40 hours
Experience: Not required. Will train
