Job Description:
ULA Education Corp. dba ULA Education is an Ontario secondary school located in Toronto, Ontario. We offer high school credit courses, IELTS / TOFEL Tutoring and IB-Level group tutoring. We now seeking for one permanent full-time New Media Writer to join our team.
JOB DUTIES
• Generate original narratives, stories, marketing copy and content to inspire, motivate and excite prospective students about ULA Education
• Write strong, vivid and strategic marketing copy and content, often under deadline pressure, to be incorporated into digital, social media platforms, blog and the ULA’s website
• Craft content that appeals to ULA’s various prospective student audiences including local and overseas high school students and those interested in pursuing higher education in USA
• Provide editorial service support to the admissions marketing team including copy-editing, proofreading and updating existing copy and content.
• Updates and maintains social media presence
• Create and manage email campaigns in marketing automation and email platforms

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
Permanent, Full time
SALARY
49,140 per annum for 35 hours per week ($27.00 per hour)


Job Requirements:
• College diploma in business or related field of study
• Minimum 2-year of experience in social media content writing
• Knowledge in social medial marketing
• Strong working knowledge of social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, blogs, WeChat, LinkedIn, Instagram, Weibo, YouTube, YouKu and WordPress
• Experience with editorial management, copy editing, proofreading, and text publishing and distribution
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word
• Strong working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
• Excellent written communication
• Demonstrated initiative, accurate and good team player
• Proven organizational skills including strong time management skills to effectively prioritize and meet deadlines
• Ability to work independently, excellent judgment and a desire to succeed
