Greenpeace is a global, independent campaigning organization that uses peaceful protest and creative communication to expose global environmental problems and promote solutions that are essential to a green and peaceful future. For over fifty years, Greenpeace has fought to save the planet from the threat of global warming, destruction of ancient forests, deterioration of our oceans, and the threat of a nuclear disaster loom large. As an independent organization, Greenpeace does not accept funds from any corporations or government entities. Greenpeace is headquartered in the Netherlands, with offices all around the world in over fifty countries.

Greenpeace USA (GPUS) is hiring two (2) Action Team Warehouse Fellowships to work with the Action team to operate and maintain equipment in our warehouses located in Landover, MD and Oakland, CA. The warehouses also serve as the base of operations for our activist training program and function as community centers for the larger environmental and social justice movement. At a base level, this position helps ensure that each warehouse is a clean, fully functional, safe, and engaging space.

This role will:

Provide regular cleaning, maintenance of expensive and complex equipment.
Provide office support and work with volunteers, vendors, and contractors
Provide logistical support for the Action Team.


Job Requirements:
Minimum requirements include:

Having basic knowledge of or at least a strong interest in boating, trailering, climbing, USPS and out-of-the-ordinary shipping,
Artistic and handy with at least a basic familiarity with tools and building.
Must be able to work with, support, and help create a safe and constructive space for people of all different cultures, backgrounds, and preferences.
Driverís license and at least 21 years of age

Additional qualifications include, but are not limited to:

Proven ability to work both independently and in close coordination with a team.
Managing multiple and changing priorities effectively
Strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and integrity
Basic digital skills
