Job Description:
• Plant, fertilize, cultivate, spray and irrigate the crops
• Tying, weeding and harvesting of crops
• Clean, load and pack crops
• Perform quality checks on the produce and prepare it for the market
• Participate in the inspection, grading, sorting, storage and post-harvest treatment of crops
• Clear and maintain irrigation ditches
• General farm related duties
Skills or working abilities:
• Must have good hand eye coordination
• Work quickly and consistently for long periods of time
• Must be able to work outdoors in extreme weather conditions
• Physically demanding work involving heavy lifting and carrying
• Reliable and self-motivated
