About This Position

The Department of Microbiology and Immunology at the University of Miami, Miller School of Medicine, has an exciting opportunity for a Postdoctoral Associate for tumor immunology research. The Postdoctoral Associate supports research activities at the University, under the supervision of a faculty member, in order to advance their knowledge and/or be documented by scientific publications.

The duties and responsibilities for this position may include, but are not limited to:



  • Works and collaborates on studies related to field of study.

  • Ensures the design, development, execution and implementation of scientific research and/or development in collaboration with a research team.

  • Investigates the feasibility of applying a wide variety of scientific principles and theories to potential inventions and products.

  • Maintains substantial knowledge of state-of-the-art principles and theories.

  • Contributes to scientific literature and conferences, when appropriate.



Minimum Qualifications

Ph.D. in a life science field of study, M.D., or other doctoral-level degree. Experience in tumor immunology. Experience in mouse tumor studies. Experience in immunological studies. Must have excellent communication skills, verbal and written. Must be detail oriented.
