Research & Development Product Development Scientist Job

Job Responsibilities:

• Work as part of the Product Development Team to identify and develop new products and processes from concept to commercialization


• Interact cross-departmentally with Marketing, Manufacturing, Food Safety & Quality, Engineering, R&D and Supply Chain


• Build products and processes by leveraging knowledge and skill sets in Product Development, Meat Science, Chemistry, Processing, Packaging and Manufacturing


• Make significant contributions to develop new products and improve existing products


• Contribute to productivity, flexible formulation, and development projects from concept through commercialization

Job Requirements:

• B.S. in Food Science or Meat Science required


• 5+ years of product development experience


• Previous experience with fresh and ready-to-eat meat products


• Knowledgeable of USDA/FDA regulations and standards


• Strong communication skills
