Job Description:
We, Mandeep K Sandhar, Ravinder Singh Sandhar are looking to hire a Farm Manager for our farm at 1045 El Paso Road, Kelowna, BC V1X 2S6. The self motivated manager would help in all areas land preparation, produce, spraying, irrigation and harvesting.
Job Duties:
• Responsible for preparing land, harvesting, fertilizing and spraying of the crops
• Responsible for field work: plowing and planting, weeding, cultivating, harvesting and sorting
• Determining the staffing needs, hiring and training the workers
• Buying machinery, seeds and other supplies
• To come up with a marketing plan
• Develop and keep financial and production records
• Operate and maintain farm machinery, equipment and buildings
• May perform other farm related duties.
Salary: $20.00 per hour and overtime starts after 40 hours.
