Job Summary



  • Our Client, a research-based pharmaceutical company, is seeking a Business Communications Team Lead possessing a Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Cognitive Science, or other analytical field; Psychology, English and expertise in designing and developing stakeholder analyses and communication plans to support technology/systems deployment projects

  • The Global Supply (PGS) Business Adoption Team is responsible for driving the development and implementation of Training and Communications to drive the user adoption of very leading edge digital solutions that drive pharmaceutical manufacturing into the digitized future.

  • As a member of Business Adoption, this role will have the opportunity to work closely with the Company's BT organization to set direction and oversee the design, development and delivery of communication strategies and plans, the creation and delivery of communications including emails, articles, presentations, and videos.

  • This role will need to understand technical capabilities including Microsoft Surface Hubs, Advanced Analytics, IIoT and Artificial Intelligence in manufacturing settings to enable the adoption of new capabilities.

  • This is a contractor position will be based in Peapack, NJ, and may require travel up to 20%.


Responsibilities



  • In support of the PGS Digital Transformation program, execute stakeholder analyses to define the starting point, expectations, and goals for users of new digital capabilities

  • Work with Digital Transformation team management to define appropriate communication strategies

  • Develop communication plans for new application deployments

  • Execute and deliver planned communications to prepare organizations and users for new digital manufacturing tools using a variety of channels including:

    • Email

    • Articles

    • Websites (including the development of new websites)

    • Presentations

    • Infographics



  • Work with technical development teams in an agile environment to understand new applications being developed; define and document application roadmaps, value proposition, benefits, and enhancements

  • Define the methods for gathering feedback on communications, track and measure impacts, and assess changes to ensure effectiveness of messages

  • Develop weekly status reports

  • Manage one resource in task prioritization, division of responsibilities, and project timelines


Qualifications



  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Cognitive Science, or other analytical field; Psychology, English

  • Expertise in designing and developing stakeholder analyses and communication plans to support technology/systems deployment projects

  • Significant experience and expertise with PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Visio, Yammer, SharePoint

  • Experience designing and creating management presentations, marketing presentations, infographics

  • Expertise in designing and creating informational videos

  • Familiarity with GMP and compliance requirements preferred

  • Pharmaceutical experience preferred but not necessary

  • Independent, self-motivated personality with superb oral and written communication skills

  • Ability to work collaboratively in diverse cross-functional teams on innovative solutions and tools with an open attitude toward fast learning
