Office Assistant/Customer Service for Wholesale Bakery (San Francisco)

Preeminent Bay Area wholesale bakery located South of Market/Mission District seeks outgoing, detail oriented administrative/customer service professional to join us 3-4 days per week in our small, fast paced, friendly office. The ideal candidate will be proficient in order taking, data entry, customer service and light bookkeeping/accounting.

Responsibilities Include:

* Calling accounts and taking complex orders in a courteous and professional manner
* Processing orders and entering data accurately using proprietary software
* Generating and reconciling a variety of daily production/sales reports in a timely manner
* Some attention to accounts payable and receivable, as needed
* Light filing, faxing and general administrative support

Qualifications Preferred:

* High School or equivalent education at minimum, some college preferred
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
* General computer literacy and familiarity: internet, office productivity suites (word, excel), office machines, basic phone systems and smart phones
* Stellar communications skills - articulate and courteous on the phone, in person and in writing.
* Positive, flexible, 'can-do' attitude is critical. This position requires a team player with a strong and reliable work ethic and an ability to responsibly execute duties independently, and to adapt to the seasonal ebb and flow inherent in the restaurant industry.
* Restaurant, bakery and related food service experience is a plus - especially in public/customer service roles.
