Job Description:

Position Overview:
This position will report to the Vice President of IT for HBM Holdings. The successful leader will be skilled in business relationship management, application management, manufacturing processes, and back office automation. They will serve as a trusted advisor to business partners (Finance, Human Resources, Engineering, Operations, and Commercial) to deliver IT services that meet their business priorities. They will oversee all aspects of IT including: Strategic Planning, Project Prioritization & Management, Budgeting, Applications, Infrastructure, and End User Support.


Responsibilities:



  • Collaborate with business leaders and serve as technical lead for the planning, design, and execution of projects to enable the achievement of business objectives through the effective use of technology

  • Provides guidance and direction to team members on system issues, new systems development, software evaluations, business process design, and enhancement of existing systems

  • Oversee budgeting, strategic and tactical planning, and solution roadmaps based on forecasted company needs and objectives

  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand their business capabilities, capture and help prioritize their demand, and lead cross-functional project teams that will design, deliver and support IT services

  • Lead the recruiting, training, coaching and development of team members & management of 3rd party vendors

  • Implement best practices and act as a strategic advisor to drive innovation and continuous improvement

  • Manage and monitor business application installation and support of both packaged applications and in-house developed solutions

  • Regularly measure customer satisfaction levels and identify & implement steps to improve satisfaction levels.


Required Skills:



  • Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Engineering or another related field

  • +15 years' experience developing, implementing, or supporting business critical solutions with 7+ years in management role

  • Demonstrated success at leading solutions that solve business problems; ability to influence the opinions and approach of business and IT team members (ERP selection/implementation and Data Analytics is preferred).

  • Proven history of developing a high performing team: building trust, delivering feedback/coaching, setting expectations and holding others accountable.

  • Knowledge of system design, development, implementation, and user support principles and practices

  • Broad knowledge of and experience with various on premise business applications and cloud services

  • Experience managing application databases, cloud services, and application integrations

  • Ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience

  • Excellent leadership, customer service, and project delivery skills

  • Outstanding analytical, technical, and problem-solving abilities
