Job Description:

Position Overview

  • Our Client, the world's leading chemical company, is seeking a Procurement/Fulfillment Clerk / Procurement Support Analyst possessing an Associate degree plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • The Procurement function primarily is responsible for evaluating quotes with vendors; creating purchase orders for raw materials/base metal materials; manage the precious metal vendor and keeping contact and on-time delivery of vendors.


  • Reconciliation of inventory/purchase orders

  • Monitor accounts to ensure receipts are up to date

  • Resolve purchase order discrepancies

  • Assist the vault by creating purchase orders for scrap lots.

  • Maintaining files for the purchasing department including paperwork for orders, acknowledgements, and invoice and email correspondence with vendors.

  • Responsible for purchasing technical materials with the P-card including all packaging materials.

  • Reconcile all P-card activities monthly.

  • Follow up with vendors for status of deliveries.

  • Participate in group projects throughout the year.

  • Assist inventory clerk with inspection of incoming materials.

Education and Experience

  • Associate degree desirable, plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Minimum 2 years of admin/handling precious metal transactions

  • Must possess solid basic computer and math skills

  • Knowledge of procurement functions

  • Knowledge of weights and measurement conversions

  • Knowledge of relevant computer applications

  • Proficient in data entry and management

  • Must be capable of using the most common MS Office software

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook

  • SAP experience highly desirable

  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent organizational skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to work as part of a team and/or independently
