Type of Employment: Full time - Permanent
Estimated Start Date: As soon as possible
Job Description:
• Maintain work records and logs
• Perform general farm duties
• Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
• Hire and train staff
• Monitoring animal health
• Maintain quality control and production records
• Co-ordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers
• Feed inventory
• Handling animals
• Maintain livestock performance records
Type of Farm Operations
-Poultry and egg production
Requirements:
-Education: Completion of high school
-Experience: At least two years of experience as a farm worker / supervisor, or a post-secondary certificate is required
-Equipment and machinery experience: Egg gathering system
-Worker must be able to sit/bend and stand for extended periods
Salary: $18.43 to $20.43 Hourly, 40 – 50 Hours per week
Benefits: Coveralls and boots, gloves, dust masks provided
Important information: Workday schedule will be from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM / Monday to Friday. Some weekend work required, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Employee will always work a minimum of 30 hours regardless of the weather condition.
