Farm Manager (NOC: 0821)

Wage Rate: $20.00 - $22.00/hourly, 40 hours a week.
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time, Part-Time, Overtime, Weekend, Day, Evening, if required.
Start Date of Employment (Approx.): As soon as possible
Education: High School, Diploma in agriculture an asset.
Experience: 1-3 years of experience.
Languages: Basic Knowledge of English.

Benefits: Accommodation will be provided @ $30/week. Relocation expenses & medical insurance for first 3 months covered by employer, if required.
Job Duties:
• Manage all the farm related activities.
• Create a proper date chart for the crops.
• Organize and co-ordinate planting, cultivating and crop harvesting activities.
• Hire and manage farm personnel
• Develop and keep financial and production records.
• Purchase inventories and needful supplies for the farm.
• Maintain farm machinery, equipment and buildings.
• Perform farming duties.
Note: The farm manager may need to travel to different farm locations.
Work Site Environment: Outdoors, wet/damp/rain, odours, hot/cold.
