Job Description:
Company Name: Desert Hills Estate Winery Inc.
Permanent Position: Farm Supervisor (NOC: 8252)
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Overtime, Weekend, Day, Night, Evening
Wage Rate: $19.00/hr, 40 hours per week.
Benefits: Accommodation will be provided @ $30/week. Relocation expenses & medical insurance for first 3 months covered by employer, if required.
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible.

Education: High School
Experience: 1-3 years of relevant experience.
Languages: Basic Knowledge of English.
Type of Farm Operations: Fruits and Field crops.
Job Duties:
1. Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of workers
2. Ensure compliance with all operational policies and procedures.
3. Implement and ensure compliance with company mandated programs and procedures
4. Establish methods to meet work schedules and co-ordinate work activities with other units
5. Resolve work problems and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
6. Requisition materials and supplies
7. Train staff in job duties, safety procedures and company policy
8. Determines staffing needs in the area assigned and coordinates with other supervisors to maximize labor resources.
9. Prepare production and other reports
10. May perform general farm duties.
