General Farm Workers (NOC: 8431)

Head Office: 2396-272 Street, Aldergrove, BC V4W 2R1, Canada
Wage Rate: $12.65 hourly, 40 hours a week.
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time, Overtime, Weekend, Day, Evening, if required.
Language: No language requirement
Start Date of Employment (Approx.): As soon as possible
Education: None
Experience: Training will be provided.
Positions Available: 45
Work Locations:
1. 7435-264 Street, Abbotsford, BC
2. 27888 King Road, Abbotsford, BC
Benefits: Accommodation will be provided at $30/week. First three months of medical insurance, if required.
Job Duties:
• Field work, plowing, planting, weeding, cultivating, harvesting, washing, sorting, packing of the vegetable and field crops.
• Remove weeds from the crop.
• Set water and ventilation system in greenhouse.
• Detect disease and health problems in crops.
• Other duties related to agriculture stream.
• Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
Work Site Environment: Outdoors, wet/damp/rain, odours, hot/cold.
Other Information: The candidate must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
