Job Description:

Reporting directly to the Vice President, Entertainment. The Licensing Manager is responsible for maintaining brand integrity, improving product sales, as well as assisting with the management and coordination between global licensees. The Licensing Manager will work closely with licensees to help execute overall strategic vision and will also be responsible for prospecting and negotiating new license agreements and identifying and securing available opportunities for the brand. Must possess great organizational skills, communication skills, have the ability to manage cross-functional team projects and multi-task.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Conceive and support brand architecture and achieve overall business goals for the brand
Assist with the overall brand strategy and help ensure financial targets are achieved
Assist with the direction, implementation, execution and continuous improvement of the licensing processes
Grow licensing partner relationships across all categories
Strategize and drive growth with licensees for retail and category expansion
Research categories, stay abreast of trends and source new ideas for opportunities
Partner with internal accounting department for invoices, royalty reporting and late payment notifications
Ensure licensee compliance on contractual terms including forecasting, royalty reporting and marketing
Analyze forecasting and budgeting for licensee revenue
Maintain brand integrity across product lines, advertising, and all other internal and external communication as it pertains to the brand
Assist with brand summits communicating brand message to external partners
Participate in key sales and marketing presentations as necessary
Manage brand guidelines to ensure all vendors and internal audiences follow them and update them as necessary

Job Requirements:
At least 3 years of experience in licensing

Proven track record in brand licensing and management. Character brand experience a plus
History/understanding of how licensing deals are identified and negotiated
Experience managing licensing deals in a variety of product categories
Strong analytical and research skills
Excellent verbal communication, written communication and presentation skills
Must exhibit excellent attention to detail and good organizational and follow-through skills
Must have strong computer proficiency and well-versed in MS Office. (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Bachelor's degree required
Willingness and ability to travel as the role requires
Strong international experience
