Job Description:


The Financial Analyst is responsible for collecting data to evaluate the business, projects, budgets, and other finance related entities to determine sustainability in investments. The role requires individuals be able to view and interpret financial data and produce meaningful reports, presentations and recommendations.

Job Duties:

  • Forecasting

    • Ongoing forecasting of current and future projects

    • Collaborate with other departments to maintain accuracy of inputs

    • Prepare presentations for executives and investors to see viability of projects

  • Cash Flow

    • Forecast cash flow based on reimbursements, fees and commissions from projects

    • Prepare and review interactive presentations with executives

  • Variance Reports

    • Audit general ledger

    • Internal monthly reports

    • External quarterly reports to executives, bankers and investors

  • Insurance

    • Builders risk reports

    • Billing builders risk and general liability to accounts payable by project and usage

    • Policy renewals for builders' risk and general liability

    • Review and audit workers' compensation reports

  • Improve and Maintain Tools and Materials

    • Forecasting models

    • Workers compensation calculations

    • Depreciation schedules

    • Home cost reports

    • Lot cost appreciation schedules

    • BRIX templates

    • Financial Results library

    • Reimbursements guide: commissions, builder fees and payroll reimbursements per project

    • Account Guide

    • Monthly reports per project

  • Other

    • Approve payroll reimbursements based on project agreements

    • Analyze home costs to help determine pricing

    • Supply CFO with supplementary support

      • Home budget submissions to various projects

      • Requests from bankers, investors and executives

    • Upload budgets to BRIX

    • Calculate burden rate used for payroll reimbursements

    • Finance policies and procedures


For the role of Financial Analyst, a bachelor's degree along with one to two years' experience is required. Individuals must be proficient in the Microsoft Office suite, with special emphasis on Excel.
