Eurofins Lancaster Laboratories, a nationally recognized laboratory, is searching for a Quality Control Data Management Specialist to support our Professional Scientific Services group in Fremont, CA.




QC Data Management Specialist responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following :



  • Coordinate, organize and archive data generated from QC laboratories


  • Interact with QC laboratories and Sample Management groups to prioritize result reporting, cross check SOPs and protocols to ensure all results are available per appropriate timelines


  • Generate controlled test records as requested


  • Maintain and archive returned test records


  • Compile data into lot binders


  • Generate reviews and/or maintains records or documents in a detailed and consistent manner


  • Prepare data reports and spreadsheets as needed


  • Coordinate testing data from contract labs and other testing sites


  • Perform LIMS entries for contract lab data


  • Perform weekly and monthly reviews of forms and logbooks


  • Revise standard operating procedures that are submitted to management for review and final approval



The ideal candidate would possess :



  • Experience with managing and coordinating data in a GMP QC environment


  • Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills


  • Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail


  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude


  • Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies



Basic Minimum Qualifications :



  • Bachelor's degree in microbiology, life sciences, or other related degree concentration


  • At least 2 years related laboratory experience (microbiology and environmental monitoring in a GMP facility preferred)


  • Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship



Position is full-time, M - F, 8am - 5pm with some evening and weekend work required. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Fremont, California are encouraged to apply.
