Title: Digital Content & Production Manager (NOC 5131)
Location of work: Toronto & Haliburton, Ontario
Salary: $51,342.2 Per Year
Terms of employment: Permanent, full time
Hours of work: 35 hours per week
Benefits: Eligible for bonuses and/or salary increases in accordance with company policy.
Duties Involve:
Haliburton Summer Camp (June-Mid September):
Creating and managing Video content for our web videos and in-house productions including cataloging footage for post summer editing.
o Experience operating Gimbals and Drones.
o Experience in Web Streaming.
o Experience working and processing high resolution and large files.
o Own video equipment is a bonus, but some equipment is available.
Overseeing our programming department and staff by running our day to day programming and special events over the summer. The candidate is expected to be able to run sound, lighting, video playback and streaming along with stage managing our shows and plays when not videoing.
Radio: Creating Jingles, Promotional Packages & Sourcing popular clean music to play and use while running a daily radio shows with campers and editing highlights for web along with junior staff shadowing the role.
Photography: Assisting our lead Photographer and covering days off and occasional event support. Collecting/Processing images and uploading them to our website and social media as well as printing for distribution around camp.
Various other duties: Setting up movies in our theatre and portable screens, office support including phones and inputting data into camp brain, food serving and cleaning in pre and post camp groups, inventory, and day to day tech support on screens, printers and computers with occasional driving duties.
Assisting in organising post camp corporate events and retreats.
Managing our Social Media platforms including: Facebook, Instagram & Vimeo accounts.
Maintaining our Website: and ensuring it is kept up to date with relevant information and new promotional material.

Toronto Head Office: (September - June)
Editing a 60-90 Minute movie with summer video footage for a promotional screening in a Toronto Cinema.
Maintaining our Website: and ensuring it is kept up to date with relevant information and new promotional material.
Creating promotional material for web and print including: Videos, Flyers, Newsletters and our Informational Magazine.
Managing our Social Media platforms including: Facebook, Instagram & Vimeo accounts.
Assisting in Recruitment and Hiring of Campers and Staff with an emphasis on International candidates.
o Creating new informational material such as guides and video content for recruitment of international staff and campers.
o Traveling to Camp workshops and hiring fairs in countries such as The UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand and Israel.
o Knowledge in foreign work markets and study programs with the ability to organise recruitment events.
o Working with local recruitment agencies and student councils to promote hiring fairs.
o Assisting in contract negotiation and communication with foreign candidates leading up to their arrival in Canada.

Qualifications & Requirements:
Technical training in a related field (e.g. Video, Photography, Media, Events etc.).
Proficient in: Adobe Premiere or Final Cut Pro, After Effects, Illustrator, & Playback Software.
Proven Experience editing a 60-90 Minute feature video. (Cut, Sound, Colour)
Proficient in: Word & Excel and ability to build and manage Wordpress Sites with Html knowledge.
Valid Passport and Driving Licence (Willing to travel).
Excellent leadership skills, communication skills (Written and Oral) and strong attention to detail.
Ability to plan, organise and prioritize multiple and simultaneous projects in a high turnaround environment.
Minimum of 3 years in a video production role.
Minimum of 2 years working on events.
Experience working in a customer facing environment and on Social Media Campaigns.
Experience working with Children and Teenagers and experience in a Summer Camp Culture
Provide a valid police check with no convictions and ability to work with children.

** Although not a requirement a successful candidate will need to take a swim test in order for us to evaluate their level of swimming. Camp Timberlane is surrounded by a lake and a lot of our activities are water based and it is recommended candidates are comfortable working around water and on boats **
