Corning is seeking a seasoned professional to supervise the operation of the strategic space planning and operations within the Workplace Services team.

Key Qualifications:

· Experience managing a diverse team of employees & vendors responsible for space & strategic planning.

· Deep expertise in implementing strategic plans, detailed tactical plans, scheduling, budgeting, and executing of all services required to implement the plan utilizing cross-functional facilities teams in building management, operations, capital projects & real estate

· Ability to balance the trade-offs between risks and benefits of different scenario plans and communicate those risks & benefits up through management.

· Ability to deploy space standards across business units, programming standards & design guidelines.

· Proven experience implementing strategic plans for remote sites & campuses, leveraging partnerships with the local site manager & stakeholders.

· Excellent report creation, analytical experience and presentation development.

· Excellent communication, and supervisory skills, including experience working with all levels of an organization and ability to manage customer service issues involving stakeholders in a professional and positive manner.

· Capability to diagnose, manage and resolve hurdles & blockers quickly and efficiently, including experience prioritizing and assigning work tasks among the team members.

· Oversee high volume of customer requests, assist team to get completed, improve customer experience and process improvement

Job Requirements:

· Ability to analyze problems and opportunities.

· Strong communications and customer service skills (written and verbal) skills

· Computer skills required: PeopleSoft, SAP, SAP Success Factors, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, ServiceNow

· Excellent internal networking skills as demonstrated by broad experience with staff and operating divisions on a worldwide basis.

· Strong team player, able to work with all parties, both internal and external.

· Functional Performance Excellence skills, Green Belt required.


· Bachelor's Degree (or higher) Science in Business Administration
