Job Description:
Our growing Auto Group located in the Richmond Auto Mall is looking for a responsible, hard-working, and detail-oriented Intermediate IT Support Technician. S/he is responsible for providing technical support to internal staff by researching and answering questions; troubleshooting problems; maintaining workstations and making repairs when necessary. The IT Support Technician will also be responsible for maintaining/troubleshooting all technical resources such as phones, TV audio/videos, cameras, etc.
Full-time employees are entitled to coverage under our Group Benefits plan and participation in our RRSP matching program. We pay 100% of the premiums for Extended Health, Dental, and MSP.
Intermediate IT Support Responsibilities include:

Provide answers by identifying problems; researching answers; guiding individuals through corrective steps

Test programs; maintain systems and database

Administer user accounts

Provide troubleshooting, repair and maintenance for computer and technical equipment

Improve system performance by identifying problems; recommending changes

Act as a liaison for the computer operation, communicating, resolving, and/or initiating and resolution of problems and concerns

Intermediate It Support Qualifications:

Post-secondary diploma or degree in information systems, computer science, or a related discipline

At least 3 years of experience in an IT role

Excellent problem-solving skills in all things technical

The ability to explain problems and solutions clearly to non-technical users

Attention to detail and the ability to prioritize your workload
