Jacobs is hiring a Security Engineer with RSA Archer experience to work in Arlington, VA.





  • Responsible for requirements gathering and analysis, business process modeling, workflow development, system customization, software upgrades, maintenance, and documentation.




  • Will coordinate with other organizations and vendors, as well as assist the user community; Must be able to adapt to a changing environment




  • Conduct requirements gathering sessions with new RSA Archer eGRC user groups




  • Develop workflow models within Archer development environment




  • Conduct user acceptance testing of workflows and modification made to Archer




  • Deploy finalized products to production RSA Archer eGRC environment




  • Maintain Archer GRC platform components - Server hardware, SQL databases, Windows services, RSA Archer product software




  • Develop RSA Archer eGRC data integration feeds to/from other systems as requested




  • Provide regular status report updates on project plans and maintain schedules




  • Develop custom scripts or utility applications to process repetitive tasks and increase team productivity




  • Provide third-level troubleshooting support for security applications and appliances




  • Continue to increase technical skill-set through continuing education




  • Conduct requirements gathering sessions with new RSA Archer eGRC user groups




  • Develop workflow models within Archer development environment




  • Requires interpersonal interaction and communication skills to interact with customers, team members and product support personnel

  • Clearance: US Citizenship required. Must be able to obtain "Public Trust" level clearance

  • Associate of Science degree in Information Technology, IT Security, Network Systems Technology or related field or equivalent experience plus four (4) to seven (7) years of directly related experience or any equivalent combination of education, experience, training and certifications.

  • 5+ years of information technology experience

  • Experience with interpreting requirements and implementing policies

  • Broad IT Security background with exposure to many standard industry products and technologies

  • Experience in the following:


    • RSA Archer GRC 6.x developer and/or administrator experience

    • Three (3+) months' experience (or more) developing RSA Archer eGRC solutions

    • Business Process Modeling, Workflow Development

    • SQL and/or Oracle Databases

    • Windows Active Directory, Server, Desktop, and Laptop administration and security

    • Programming and scripting languages (Javascript, C, Perl, Bash)

    • Microsoft Project

    • Technical writing experience:

    • Technical / System architecture documentation

    • System Security Plans

    • Installation/Deployment and Test Plans

    • Security Operating Procedures

    • Requirements documentation


  • Desired Qualifications:


    • RSA Archer eGRC Training and Certification (RSA Archer Certified Administrator)

    • Ability to work in a team environment

    • Strong analytical and problem solving skills

    • IT Security certifications - Security+, CISSP, GSEC

    • Microsoft, VMware, Linux, and/or Network Certifications

    • Programming and/or scripting language experience

    • Technical background with multiple IT disciplines and knowledge of current IT Security issues and best practices also a plus
