Job Requirements:

These positions are responsible for performing duties within the Retail Operations Center to maximize production and revenue.

Occupational Priorities

  • Operating a stand-alone tipping machine, maintaining consistent bale density.

  • Sorting non-bale material from those that are acceptable for baling.

  • Placing bales in holding areas.

  • Use hand stacker and forklift to load bales onto trailers or move throughout facility.

  • Sorting product down to separate salvage lines.

Requirements: Must have good manual dexterity and a full range of body motion to push, pull, carry, sort and lift clothes; Must be able to maintain a forklift operator's certificate.

  • Ability to meet production standards

  • Commitment to mission of the organization

  • Understanding of the importance of the donor and salvage processes and how they support the mission

  • Must be able to tolerate loud noises and dust

  • Must be able to lift, push or pull up to 100 pounds regularly

  • Must be able to perform all job duties using required safety equipment

Professional-Strong work ethic, solid judgment, commitment to the mission, must be able to lift, push, or pull up to 100 pounds regularly.

Industry-Ability to remain on task, must be able to perform all job duties using required safety equipment, ability to meet production standards.

Educational-The incumbent should have at least 6 months of work history, unless this is her first job, High School diploma or equivalent is not required, ability to become certified to operate a forklift and/or hand stacker
