Readiness Analyst

Key Role:

Serve as a subject matter expert for Readiness Kill Chain (RKC) methodology for various Navy clients. Define and analyze current problems to develop quality client deliverables and communicate the results and takeaways to stakeholders effectively. Maintain responsibility for analyzing complex client problems to define the current state, barriers, impacts, root causes, recommended solutions, and preferred end state. Provide guidance in applying preferred RKC tools, standard process maps, prioritization of recommend solutions, and preferred briefing formats.

Basic Qualifications:

-Experience in analytical methodology, conducting assessments, and program evaluation

-Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

-Knowledge of Navy Fleet and Joint training programs, including Optimized Fleet Response Plan and Readiness Kill Chain Analysis and the Navy Lessons Learned Information System (NLLIS) and Joint Lessons Learned Information System (JLLIS)

-Knowledge of preparing project papers, senior management level briefings or presentations, and executive correspondence

-Knowledge of Department of Navy (DoN) organizational missions and title 10 responsibilities for USFF and command relationships

-Knowledge of the USFF organization mission, structure and business practices, and command relationships

-Ability to orchestrate and administer presentations, establish and maintain positive working relationships, work closely with senior level personnel, including O-5 and O-6 level, and participate in working groups to address, facilitate, and resolve actionable issues

-Ability to work closely with senior personnel

-Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with the Navy Defense Readiness Reporting Systems

-Experience with Navy Manning and Distribution

-Experience with Navy Shipyard Availabilities processes

-Knowledge of Navy unit-level Basic and Integrated Training phases and conducting training assessments

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-MS degree in a technical, engineering, or analytical field, including Operations Research, Business Analytics, or Engineering
