Job Description:

The purpose of the VP, Dunbar Cash Vault Services - Cash Vault Analytics Cash Vault Analytics position is to optimize cash processing efficiencies throughout the cash vault branches within the Dunbar enterprise. The ideal candidate will serve as the division consultant, collaborating with the two regional Senior Vice Presidents of Cash Vault Operations to promote efficiency and effectiveness within all branch operations. This candidate will serve as the central conduit for capital recommendations, staffing and productivity studies, and business growth opportunities. The incumbent will serve as the division compliance officer, coordinating with company internal auditors, reviewing findings, and offering solutions.

Reports directly to the Executive Vice President, Cash Vault Services.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

1. Serves as the Division Consultant for process improvement. Engages with Regional Senior Vice Presidents and Regional Vice Presidents on matters of efficiency and effectiveness within each branch facility.

2. Conducts independent analyses on branch staffing, productivity, and equipment standards. Informs the EVP, Cash Vault Services on findings and subsequently collaborates with field leadership to determine next steps.

3. Determines best management practices and leverages technology where and whenever possible to improve division and branch effectiveness and efficiencies. Collaborates with information technology (IT) experts to determine best solutions.

4. Proactively recommends the purchase of capital equipment after having collaborated with field leadership, conducted cost/benefit, break even and return on investment analyses, and after having developed an implementation plan. Serves as the central repository for all capital equipment requests from the field.

5. Conducts the RFP process for all capital expenditures. In accordance with policy, develops a slate of vendors, coordinates presentations to the EVP and key leaders, negotiates the best value cost, and submits the coordinated recommendation to senior management for review and decision.

6. By independent review of practices and consultation with both field leadership and rank and file, determines best practices and develops meaningful metrics designed to measure success.

7. Collaborates with Bid Administration and the SVP, Financial Services to both gather integral information and advise on branch capacity when responding to an RFP from a major banking institution.

8. Manages equipment and service vendor relationships by monitoring key contract provisions, maintaining frequent communications, ensuring that payments are made timely, and reviewing performance on a periodic basis.

9. Analyzes account productivity/profitability across the branch network, determines best practices, and conveys results to Senior Vice Presidents.

10. Performs other related duties as directed by the EVP, Cash Vault Services



JOB SPECIFICATIONS

*Master of Science Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field
*10 years of experience managing commercial cash vault operations, or managing operations within a similar competency within the banking industry.
*Possess advanced knowledge and application of Information Technology software applications such as database management, presentation, and word processing-must be able to demonstrate competence.
*Robust complex project lead experience; must be able to demonstrate previous project success.
*Extensive experience with complex verbal and written communications-must be persuasive and compelling.
*Experience as a change agent from introduction of a concept to execution of a product.
* Critical and analytical thinking skills-applying such to problem solving, developing initiatives, and promoting process initiatives.
