Position Title: Customer Service Representative 2 of Personal Lines
Business Unit: INSA
Reports To: Supervisor of Personal Lines Client Services

Position Overview:
This position is primarily responsible for sales, service, retention and growth of personal lines accounts and for assisting Sales Executives in all aspects of personal lines including the retention of present clients and potential growth opportunities. The incumbent strives to utilize available technology to efficiently perform duties. The incumbent performs every function within the department, shares responsibilities for the department in the event of an absence and helps other departments when needed.

Primary Responsibilities:
Markets new business or existing business being vigilant of customer liabilities, assets and needs. Determines premiums and present proposals to clients. Whenever necessary, works with Sales Executive. Quotes and proposes insurance for cross sell and upsells. Checks new and renewal policies for accuracy in rating, typing, coverage, signatures and billing screens.
Receives phone calls from clients and companies regarding insurance, claims, administrative problems and changes to customer insurance program and complies with these requests
Maintains a suspense system to follow up on administrative work to confirm status of policies, changes, billings/payments, home inspections, delivery of new policies, etc. Maintains electronic or paper files in an orderly, up to date manner according to procedures and requirements.
Maintains fluency in all company interfacing and product guidelines, as well as agency Errors and Omissions guidelines.
Performs other related duties and projects as assigned.

Minimum Education:
High School or GED

MS Word - Basic Level
MS Excel - Intermediate Level

Experience in personal insurance and technical knowledge and understanding of all forms of coverage and risk alternatives.

Special Licenses and Certificates:
Property and Casualty Insurance License in state of PA required. Insurance designation preferred.
