Job Requirements:

Reporting to the Career Impact Program Manager (CIPM), the Career Navigator develops, coordinates, and implements individualized Career Impact Plans. These plans provide comprehensive case management activities to include scheduling career impact workshops, collaborating with community partners in order to access outside resources and engaging with a Job Coach to locate open positions.


It is a Full-Time position with specific hours TBD (some evening hours may be required).




  • Updates CIPM on all client issues and concerns

  • Conducts and schedules individual and group sessions on assigned workshops and training programs

  • Maintains client information in the Agency's mission services data system and in the case file

  • Submits timely and accurate documentation (include billing) to CIPM

  • Acts as back-up to job coaches, GoodWorks attendants, Intake Coordinator, and other Mission Services related positions

  • Maintains strict confidentiality of client information at all times

  • Completes tasks in compliance with all company policies, procedures and legal requirements

  • Assist clients in receiving job placement through vaious servives






The Career Navigator will be a proven leader with the following skills and abilities:



  • Bachelor's degree in rehabilitation, psychology, communication, education, adult education, human resources, or related field

  • Strong background in maintaining relationships between partner agencies

  • Strong need for achievement toward program growth, placement benchmarks and quality of work product

  • Working knowledge of internet search engines, resume writing, customer service

  • Ability to teach job skills to small groups in a classroom setting

  • Microsoft Office and Windows proficiency, typing ability exceeding 40WPM

  • General knowledge of legal requirements regarding employment

  • Must have excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines

  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize to meet time sensitive dead lines

  • Ability to draft business correspondence (with proper spelling, grammar and punctuation)

  • Demonstrates professional and ffective conflict resolution skills

  • Ability to recognize potential problems within processes and recommend appropriate solutions

  • A high degree of sensitivity towards all persons with or without different abilities/disadvantages

  • Provides excellent employer/client relationships; ability to provide a positive and motivational environment

  • Recognize and avoid any conflict of interest with staff, partners or clients

  • Must have and maintain reliable transportation, clean Moter Vehicle Record (MVR), valid license and insurance to transport clients and/or drive for company-related business
