Position: Hairstyling Salon Supervisor

Compensation: start from $24
Hours of work : 35 h /w
Terms of employment : Full-time, Permanent
Benefit: basic salary plus commission

Job Duties:
- Co-ordinate, assign and review the work of hairstyling salon staff including hairstylists, hairstyling assistants and receptionists.
- Create weekly salon schedules and direct changes using available scheduling.
- Understand the needs of customers; handle and resolve customer service issues to maintain customer loyalty.
- Recruit, interview, hire and retain staff.
- Ensure smooth operation of reservation system using client management system (CMS).
- Manage and control inventory effectively.
- Maintain professional appearance and a positive attitude.
- Enforce and promote all salon policies, procedure and work rules.
- Ensure closing procedures are adhered to and daily bank deposits are made.
- Ensure the cleanliness of the salon and that the salon complies with all applicable state and local sanitation rules;
Qualifications and requirements:
• Ability to work a minimum of 35 hours per week on a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends. Occasional overtime may be required.
• At least one year supervisory experience is required.
• Completion of secondary school is required.
