Job Description:
Responsible for all operations of the Warehouse departments.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Overall responsibility for levels, accuracy, and maintenance of all inventories of the Materials Department.
Overall responsibility for production build schedule.
Overall responsibility for material flow and production support.
Overall responsibility for shipping and receiving to customers and suppliers.
Department representative for engineering changes that affect bill of materials.
Coordinate plant physical inventory.
Responsible for all transportation and logistics coordination.
Responsible for coordinating the purchasing of all local MRO items.
Responsible for managing the accuracy and abilities of the MRP system within CMS.
Department representative for QOS activities and the information presented.
Manages and monitors, and records all QOS measurables (Customer on time delivery, Supplier on time delivery, Inventory turns, expedited freight)
Work closely with supplier quality department for processing of NCMD’s.
Champion of MS-9000 program.

Directly supervises the employees in the Warehouse department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws.

Adhere to all QS9000 procedures as related to the Materials department function.

Job Requirements:

Bachelors degree or equivalent; or 5 to 7 years of automotive experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
