Position: CPU Logic Design Engineer
Location: North Carolina - Raleigh

Be a member of the team developing our next-generation, world-class, Snapdragon processors. Duties include verification and debug of micro-architecture for a high-performance, low-power ARM CPU and/or L2. The successful candidate will:
Develop an understanding of the unit micro-architecture, logic, and verification needs
Create/modify test-benches to satisfy unit level verification requirements
Create verification test plans and implement test code at the unit and top levels based on high-level specifications and team meetings
Provide debug support for sub-unit functions
Work with design team members across disciplines (Logic, Circuits, DFT)
Meet all functional quality and verification coverage requirements

Detailed knowledge of digital logic design and computer architecture
2-8 years CPU and/or L2 verification experience or equivalent design experience
Experience using front-end logic entry, simulation, and debug tools
Experience and expertise in developing test-plans/test-benches, writing/debugging tests, and using advanced verification techniques such as formal and SVA
Proficiency with System Verilog/Verilog/C/C++/Perl
Assembly level programming (knowledge of ARM ISA is a plus)
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to work in a team environment
