ZAG is currently seeking smart, motivated and capable Supply Chain interns for several different internship opportunities. Internships can be up to 12 weeks full-time (40 hours per week) andmay result in promotion to regular full-time opportunities if available. During a 10 - 12 week period, interns will be assigned to functional teams such as transportation, inventory planning and replenishment, distribution, and supply chain development to learn day-to-day operations, supply chain skills and overall comprehension of our business.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities: The Supply Chain Intern will support the Global Supply Chain team in their efforts to improve and enhance the department's operational processes. You'll shadow and complete special projects under the supervision of the Director of Operations. Individual with some knowledge of ERP / MRP systems will help manage data maintainance and systems implementation in a Netsuite ERP environment. Maintaining of open POs Maintain and assist in auditing Bill of Materials Updating item master information Costing MRP min/max Minimum order quantity Order multiple Assist with work Order setup and maintenance of this system Maintain and assist in auditing Supplier list Create documentation and make necessary plans to implement changes to the MRP systems Requirements: Candidates must either be currently enrolled in a college/University program seeking Bachelors in Operations/Supply Chain Management or is a recent graduate of one these programs seeking practical experience. Strong analytical and quantitative skills Strong project management and multi-tasking skills Strong written and verbal communications skills Possess good problem solving skills and excellent interpersonal skills Proficient in Microsoft Office Benefits: The Supply Chain Intern Program offers talented college students an opportunity to develop leadership skills and gain hands on experience in working with a number of leaders to learn the supply chain business from a rapidly growing consumer products conglomerate.
