Job Description:
Develops and implements Job Readiness and Retention Training programs for low-income unemployed and underemployed individuals residing in Middle Georgia. Provides case management, employment counseling, job placement, and job preparedness such as resume writing, time management, budgeting and related trainings. Provides counseling/retention after job placement to clients and conducts employer outreach and job development to expedite successful placements. Administers tests, conducts interviews, and researches professional sources to appraise clients’ interests, aptitudes and personality characteristics while facilitating activities in a work related curriculum.
Job Requirements:
Education/Qualification Requirement: BA/BS in Human Services related field plus 1-2 years experience providing direct client services or equivalent combination of experience and education. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be proficient in MS Office with strong organizational skills. Must have daily reliable transportation, valid Georgia License and daily access to an insured vehicle.
