Senior Web Developer
Location: Toronto – 720 King Street West
Industry: Video Game
Experience: 5 + years
Start Date: Immediate
Position Summary:
Working for the Front End Lead the
Senior Web Developer is responsible for
the customer facing aspect of the
company’s website. Your work will
include crafting a usable, responsive
site that interacts with the world of
console video gaming, as you work in
conjunction with usability experts and
designers. As the company moves
forward, our site is going through a
facelift – an excellent chance to
design, learn, expand and hone your
skills as a developer. Your work will
be viewed by hundreds of thousands of
users, as well as key players in the
gaming industry.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Computer science degree or equivalent
5+ years coding in HTML 4, CSS 3,
JavaScript
Able to do amazing things in JQuery
2+ years coding in Java;
Experience working in an Agile
environment
Familiar with SVN
Excellent communicator
Preferred:
Familiar with Struts 1.x, Hibernate
Basic knowledge of SQL
Experience with HTML 5
Experience coding for mobile platforms
