MANUFACTURING ENGINEER III

THIS IS A DEDICATED AND COMPREHENSIVE SEARCH

A $3.5 billion, US based multi-plant global company. An industry leader in their field with very strong Brand recognition.

World class manufacturer with 12,000+ employees.

New position as a result of growth and expansion. Reports to the Director of Engineering. Offers good professional visibility in an empowering work environment with excellent potential for future promotion.

Large plant - 1000+ employees and over a half million sq ft. Located in a low COL area.
Compensation - up to $85K + excellent benefits + a strong relocation package. Immediate position. EOE.

The Manufacturing Engineer will plan and design manufacturing processes in industrial manufacturing plant. May report to an executive or a manager. Maximizes efficiency by analyzing layout of equipment, workflow, assembly methods, and work force utilization. Determines parts and tools needed in order to achieve manufacturing goals according to product specification.

Performs a variety of complicated tasks. One of the key roles of the position is to provide leadership in new product design for manufacturing initiatives.

Looking for a person with

** Must possess a 4-yr technical or engineering degree (IE or ME is most desirable)
** a strong mechanical aptitude
** a minimum of 5 yrs of hands-on Manufacturing Engineering experience that includes project level leadership
** responsibility in an industrial environment - not food, chem, pharma or high tech.NOT LOOKING FOR A PURE INDUSTRIAL ENGINEER - must have manufacturing engineering experience.
** desire a mindset and track record of Continuous Improvement along with a drive for manufacturing excellence
** an ability to strongly participate in concurrent product planning sessions as a manufacturing representative
** Must Have - experience with metal fabrication. A Plus would be experience with assembly processes
** Must be comfortable with small town (10K pop) life style - an hour away from a major metro area.
** We cannot consider someone with an unstable/job-hopping work history or someone for whom this position would be a clear digression in their career
