Therapist (Oklahoma City, OK) Job

As one of the nation's fastest growing Christian foster care ministries, The Bair Foundation is currently seeking a candidate for a Therapist in Oklahoma City,OK.

Core Responsibilities:
? Provides individual, family and/or group psychotherapy to clients as described in the treatment plan.
? Applies advanced knowledge of social service techniques to independently assess the quality and appropriateness of services being provided to each child in placement.
? Applies advanced social service knowledge to develop Individualized Services Plan (ISP) to establish the appropriate services to be provided for each child in placement and to assure compliance with state regulations.
? Formulates written annotations corresponding to each element of the ISP for quarterly progress report that shows the Social Service Worker's assessment of the child's progress in relation to ISP goals established by the Social Service Worker and modifies courses of action to help child reach ISP goals.
? Exercises independent judgment in deciding the most effective services needed to benefit the child and communicates those decisions to the foster/adoptive family, the school, the referral agency and community resources.
? Responsible for monitoring progress of children in the home setting.
? Applies social work assessment skills to individually evaluate foster homes and certify eligibility to provide foster/adoptive care.
? Must have a Master's Degree in a counseling or related field. Positions also require one of the following: LMFT, LCSW, LPC, LBP, or license eligibility in the State of Oklahoma. Two years experience working with at risk youth a plus!
