Job Description:
Seeking a Programmer/Analyst that will assume a production support role. You will also pickup other programming tasks along the way. The key skill would be Teradata SQL and a willingness to learn new technologies. Will also be required to be responsible for production support for monthly and quarterly processes using UNIX or Mainframe skills. Therefore, having a complimentary skill such as Cognos, Web Development or Data Modeling is preferred (for the familiarity with database programming). This resource would be the primary focal for monthly loads to database.
Job Requirements:
• IBM z/OS MVS Mainframe programming (JCL, SPF, etc.). About 25% of the load programs are mainframe but we are working aggressively to reduce that to zero.
• IBM InfoSphere DataStage programming.
• IBM AIX/UNIX programming.
• Teradata SQL programming
• Data modeling changes for the project using ER/Studio Data Architect XE V9.
• Maintaining Cold Fusion web pages for the functional analysts to use for updating lookup tables, etc.
• Cognos skills would helpful but are not required.
Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Business desired
