Job Description:
The Director of Compensation and Human
Resources Information Systems (HRIS) is
responsible for managing our client's
compensation program and for the
integration of information systems that
support the Office of Human Resources
(HR). The Director of Compensation and
HRIS will support the functional areas
of HR in data security, integrity, and
report writing.
Job Requirements:
Qualifications: (Education/Training and
Experience Required)
Minimum:
Bachelor degree in business, human
resources, or closely related discipline
5-8 years of progressively more
responsible experience in Compensation
and HRIS management
Minimum 3 years’ experience managing
direct reports and/or in successful
project management
Minimum 3 years’ experience working with
databases and applying technology skills
and knowledge
Thorough understanding of relational
database concepts
Experience in developing reports
preferably with MS Access, Oracle
Discoverer or other report writing
applications
Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office
(Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc)
Demonstrated quantitative/analytical
skills
Demonstrated communication and
interpersonal skills
Personal commitment to excellence,
particularly in the areas of data
accuracy, customer service, best
practices in employment, benefits and
compensation management, and
professional development.
Preferred:
Strong preference for experience
managing Compensation and HRIS functions
in a higher education environment
PHR Certification
Sungard Banner software experience
