Job Description:
You will join a team of special elite forces designed to take ALT, BDSM and Bondage.com, their associated customers, revenue, traffic and turn them around.
The Alternative Lifestyles team of Various Inc. is looking for a Senior Front End engineer in San Francisco. He/she will be a key player in developing responsive interfaces for new dating and social networking products used by millions of people.
Interest in and familiarity with social networking, online dating and mobile apps is critical. We are seeking someone who is passionate about their work, new technologies, is able to communicate and works well with others.
Responsibilities
•Provide leadership in architecting and implementing user interfaces designed for performance, modularity and responsiveness
•Partner with software architects in overall system design
•Partner with product manager in the design of new features, functionality
•Participate as a member of an agile development team
•Write and mentor developers in developing front end code
•Test, document and troubleshoot your work
Job Requirements:
•Demonstrable experience building best of breed, consumer web application interfaces
•Expert Javascript/HTML/CSS/AJAX coding skills
•Familiarity with current front end frameworks
•Experience programming in one of the following: Java, PHP, Ruby
•Command of web standards, CSS based design, cross-browser compatibility and SEO best practices
•Expertise in one of the following a plus: social media, streaming video, online subscription products, large scale web applications
•Intelligence and a sense of humor to mix in well with a diverse group of bright engineers
•Must be comfortable with adult content
•Must be at least 21 years old
•Must have at least 7 to 10 years of experience
