Job Description:
We are recruiting for the following full
time position:
Manager, Product, Services, Courses -
Welding Training Services
We are a leader in on-site training of
welders for manufacturers across
Ontario. We are seeking a manager of
products, services and courses who will
develop and grow our programs as well as
oversee our supervisors who oversee the
on-site trainers.
In this newly created position, the
Manager, Products, Services and Courses
has responsibility for overseeing the
development, implementation and
execution of all new products, services
and courses. Included in this role is
the development of customized solutions
for our clients through leveraging the
Advanced Welding technology Centre
(AWTC) or other areas of expertise
within the organization.
Key responsibilities include:
• Developing and implementing
strategies to integrate new products,
services and courses into the business
to ensure revenue targets are met
• Working closely with other
business units you will be responsible
for developing projects and implement
the change in management plans to
transition new products, courses and
services into the business
• Oversee and manage the product
development team, ensuring new programs
and services identified by business
development are implemented in a timely
and cost effective manner.
Project management skills are a must as
well as demonstrated experience in
developing new products, services
courses and successfully integrating
them into the business.
Other competencies and skills include:
• Solid technical knowledge
related to CSA/AWS welding standards,
knowledge of ISO standards considered an
asset
• Ability to work with other
business units and/or on cross
functional teams to bring new products
and services to market in a timely
manner
• Excellent change management
skills, ability to get buy in and
support for all integration plans
• Strong financial planning
skills, ability to build an annual plan
and execute on time and on budget
• Sales and marketing experience
considered an asset
We offer a starting salary of $75,000
annually with a full benefit package
along with a great friendly work
environment.
This position is located at our facility
in Milton. If you live in the GTA it is
easy to get to as just off 401 and is
opposite to rush hour traffic so the
drive is easy. If you live in Hamilton
area only a short drive up Hwy 6 to 401
and from Kitchener Waterloo area a short
drive down 401.
