Job Description:
We have a client looking for an EXPERIENCED Maintenance Technician for a temp to hire position!! This is a great opportunity with a great company!! Must have large building/warehouse mechanical/maintenance experience ( NOT looking for apartment maintenance experience)! PLEASE HAVE RESUMES AND REFERENCES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Description: The TECHNICIAN is responsible for repairs, maintenance and installation of machines, tools and equipment.
• Higher technical education (minimum: 2-3 years)
• At least 5 years experience in an operational/ technical department preferably in a similar packaging/production environment.
• Language skills: ability to read, write, and speak the English language fluently.
Job Requirements:
TECHNICAL TASKS
A. Follow up on the performance of the machinery.
B. Perform immediate repairs of machinery to ensure continuous packaging operations.
C. Perform preventive maintenance whenever time.
D.Check the preventive maintenance schedule: which machine needs which type of maintenance.
E. Check with packaging if or when the machine can be scheduled for taking out of production.
F. Perform the preventive maintenance as instructed.
G. Improve machinery or safety if required.
VARIOUS TASKS
A. Coordinate or check with all parties concerned for the preventive maintenance (type, timing, etc.) in due time.
B. FOLLOW UP THOROUGHLY on all instructions
(See Orientation Training, INFO-board, Instruction boards). FOLLOW ALL REQUIRED TRAININGS !!!
C.Use the equipment and machines for what they are designed or intended.
D.Take all required SAFETY PRECAUTIONS before and during the repairs.
In NO CIRCUMSTANCE take any risk for yourselves or any bystanders.
E.If technical documentation is used, return it to the technical department.
F.Assist in training of operators regarding the usage or maintenance of machinery if required.
G.Perform strictly a thorough housekeeping of the workshop or other technical areas.
