Job Description:
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:
Trouble shoot, repair and perform preventive maintenance on mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment related to operation systems, mobile equipment and plant proper.
*Working knowledge of all plant systems
*Completion of department training courses and testing procedures as required.
*Efficiently interpret mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic blue prints.
*Safety knowledge of equipment locks and safety procedures.
*Perform assignments efficiently and in quality workmanship manner.
Job Requirements:
High School education with a minimum of 5 years experience in an Industrial environment OR Technical Degree with 2 years experience in an Industrial environment.
Must possess basic mechanical skills
Must understand pneumatic systems & prints.
Must know Lockout/Tag out procedures.
Ability to understand basic hydraulic system, welding & cutting skills.
Preferred Skills: Hydraulic trouble shooting skills & printout reading. Read & understand mechanical prints. Operate machine shop equipment using precision instruments. Understand machine alignments.
Incumbent must have ability to work 12 hour rotating shifts (7 am – 7 pm/7 pm – 7 am) including weekends and holidays.
Candidate must have strong communication skills, have the ability to work alone or as part of a team and a willingness to learn.
