Job Description:
Capitol CREAG is looking for an Environmental Specialist, Project Manager in Compliance in the Washington, DC area, working on behalf of a federal agency.
Summary:
Individuals must have experience in developing, implementing, monitoring, reviewing, and evaluating fuel conservation efforts and programs. Individuals must be knowledgeable of all Executive Orders, Public Laws, and other policy that govern the area of energy management such as but not limited to: Energy Policy Act of 1992 (Public Law 102-486) and National Energy Conservation Policy Act (Public Law 95-619). Individuals must have specific training and/or practical experience in the implementation of the provisions of National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA).
Roles and Responsibilities Include:
- Providing assistance with compliance assessments
- Completing and cataloging training materials
- Reviewing and revising Petroleum, Oils, and Lubricants (POL) guidance and tools
- Completing analysis of assessment data and recording findings
- Completing corporate level EMS procedures
Job Requirements:
Minimum Education:
Individuals must have a minimum of a 4-year degree in a related field and be able to work both independently and as part of a team. Individuals shall have a minimum of Four (4) years of related experience.
Government Experience and clearance (HSPD-12) preferred.
