Job Description:
PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Is responsible for the initiation and maintenance of inventory controls, policies, standard procedures and systems to achieve accurate financial inventory information. This accomplished through a comprehensive analysis of inventory transactions to identify problems, recommended solutions and drive implementation of improved practices, tools and policies.
RESPONSIBLITITIES:
Partners with company accounts payable department to ensure that all transactions are accounted for. Resolves any discrepancies in a timely manner.
Develops partnership with other departments to build inventory accuracy, standard procedure, controls, practices and systems.
Monitors all inventory levels, recommending any changes to management.
Monitors the accuracy of all inventory levels, resolving any errors as required.
Develops and implements an inventory management system.
Insures that product movement flows seamlessly.
Maintains integrity of inventory control records.
Challenges the status quo by developing and recommending modifications to existing processes and methodologies with a constant focus on continuous improvement.
Other miscellaneous duties inherent to the job.
Job Requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS:
Two year degree/4 year preferred or 4 years of related work experience in a manufacturing environment.
Detailed orientated with good organizational skills.
Ability to formulate solutions and resolve issues in timely manner.
Must have effective written and verbal communications skills
Experience with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel and Word.
